Temperature and Humidity large displays

Temperature and humidity can have a big effect on product quality, ease of handling and product lifetime.

We offer a range of sensors and displays to suit your environmental monitoring needs perfectly, so that you and your team can see at a glance your exact environmental conditions.

Sensors can be local or remote, suited for industrial, laboratory and quality applications.

Digit sizes are available from 14mm up to 400mm.

Our displays are designed for washdown environments, with IP65 cases, sealed all-round, with glanded cable entries

An example of large format temperature and humidity displays for use in ultra-high precision manufacturing cells.

This system also data-logs to the cloud and creates real-time graphing so the quality team can validate the history of the environment.

Large digit temperature displays in fire service applications:

Here is a mobile temperature display we designed and built for Lincolnshire Fire Service, for use outside in their training exercises.

It measures the temperature in 3 zones in a burnining room and data logs the drop in temperature as the fire is extinguished.

Data is saved to the cloud over WiFi, so teams and regional fire services can share the graphs in real time, to determine best strategies for fighting various fire types.

This large display is portable and connects directly to a type K thermocouple, which is mounted in the fire zone. The digits are 102mm high and are ultra-bright for clear visibility outside in direct sunlight.

The display can store the peak flame temperature, for later recall. It is sealed IP65 all round …

Temperature & Humidity transmitters

Ideal for monitoring temperature and humidity in production environments. Choose either 2 x 4-20mA output or RS485 Modbus RTU output.

Manual for Modbus P18
Manual for analogue P18L

New – LCD display version now available
The New P18-D includes a backlit LCD display, to show Absolute Humidity, Relative Humidity, Temperature and Dewpoint.

A sealed pushbutton area lets you select either of the 4 parameters to display.

Key points :-

1. Wide range suits most industries
2. Analogue or serial outputs
3. Choice of filters for the sensor
4. Rugged, reliable, smart.

The LEL18 transducer is for the continuous measurement and conversion of relative humidity and ambient temperature into a digital or analogue voltage or current standard signal. The transducer may be programmmed and calibrated through the RS-485 interface.

Sensor shields allow the transducer to operate in various ambient conditions, dusty, dry, corrosive etc.. The transducer is designed to be mounted on a wall.

The LEL18 transducer performs following functions:

  • calculation of selected physical quantities, (dew-point temperature, absolute humidity)
  • conversion of measured quantities into a linear output signal
  • memory of maximum and minimum values for each value
  • programming of the measurement averaging time
  • servicing of RS-485 interface in MODBUS RTU mode.

Technical Data
Basic parameters:
– relative humidity measurement (RH) 0…100% without condensation
– basic error +/- 2% for rh 10…90% +/- 3% for remaining range
– hysteresis for humidity measurement +/- 1%
– temperature measurement range (T) – 30…85oC
– temperature conversion accuracy +/- 0.5% of the range
– calculates abs. humidity (a) [g/m3] dew-point temp. (Td) [oC]
– additional errors: temp. effect +/- 25% of basic error/10oC
